Once again, LISSTEN is hosting, along with SJSU-SLIS Alumni Association, the annual Resume and Interview Workshop.  All LIS students are welcome to attend and take part in what has proven in past years to be an incredible professional building experience for those looking to make that leap from library school into the LIS professional world.

The workshop provides LIS students the opportunity to participate in resume critique workshops, mock interviews, and learning valuable job hunting strategies from LIS professionals and recent SLIS grads. In response to student requests from previous years, this year’s LISSTEN Resume and Interview Workshop Committee has expanded the event to include a resume critique segment along with the addition of an archives “mock” interview panel.

and/or the “mock” interviews, please email [email protected] and indicate which panel or panels you would like to participate in. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis, so please send your requests as soon as possible. Slots fill up incredibly fast!
