Library and Information Science Students to Encourage Networking

General Information about the 2007 Graduation Ceremony from the SLIS web site.

When: Sunday, May 20th between 1:00 - 5:00 pm

The LISSTEN graduation committee is seeking volunteers to assist at this year’s graduation ceremonies.

Volunteers are needed on the day of graduation to help with tickets, act as ushers, and generally assist students, staff, and faculty before and after the ceremony.  You will, of course, be able to attend both the ceremony and the reception as your duties allow.

Volunteers should plan to be at Hope University at 1:00 p.m.  The reception is scheduled to end at 5:00 p.m.  Parking is available at Hope University.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Remember, this is a great opportunity to network in person with faculty, SLIS graduates, and your fellow students. Not to mention, you will experience the excitement and inspiration this day brings for our SJSU-SLIS grads and future grads (like yourself).

Please contact Coleen Wakai for additional details.
