Driving directions :: Google map ::

There are detailed driving directions at :: UC Riverside web site ::

WARNING: There is extensive road construction at Riverside Junction and the adjacent part of freeway 215/60 south (exactly at the section by the University). Although our tour is scheduled during quarter break, the traffic on freeway is very slow regardless of the time of day. My suggestion is to exit freeway before the Riverside intersection as follows:

Coming from LA on 91 - take exit for 14th street and drive west (right at the exit). 14th street becomes Martin King Blvd which will bring you to the University Canyon Crest entrance. Turn left at Canyon Crest.

Coming from LA on 60 - take Market Street exit (right at the exit), drive Market Street and turn left on University drive. This street will bring you to the campus entrance at University Avenue and West Campus Drive. Turn right at West Campus Drive.

Parking :: interactive UC Riverside campus map ::

:: Daily parking fee at the campus is $6.

Information kiosks are located at the two major entrances to the UCR campus:

(1) University Kiosk - University Avenue and West Campus Drive, and
(2) Canyon Crest Kiosk - Canyon Crest Drive and Martin Luther King Blvd (Martin Luther King Blvd freeway exit is closed)

Details from :: UCR Transportation and Parking web site relevant to visitor parking:

  • Daily campus visitors may purchase Gold parking permits from the information kiosks for parking in Gold parking lots 12, 26, and 30.
  • Hourly visitor Pay-By-Space parking is available in lots 1, 6, 4 (after 4:00 pm), 10, 14, 25 ... Time must be purchased from the machine in that specific lot. (permit dispensers at parking lots 2 and 10 accept credit cards).
  • Vehicle must be parked head into a space designated by painted lines.
