ELIZABETH HORAN [[email protected]]
She comes to SJSU with an undergraduate degree in Art and Design with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. She hopes to use these skill to work in archives or a special library. Being new to the program, she decided to dive right in and try to help her fellow students by volunteering her time with LISSTEN as a member at large. Elizabeth hopes to graduate in 2008 and looks forward to the holiday break so she can read book that are not text books.

GABRIEL BEELER [[email protected]]
My name is Gabriel Beeler and I originate from Hermon, NY, which is exactly 2,864 miles from here. I did my undergraduate degree in Music and Mass Communications and my dream job is to be a music librarian. I am currently in my first semester in the Library and Information Science Program on the special libraries path. I also work full time at a business in Costa Mesa that provides services for children with Autism. My hobbies are cooking and cookbooks, gardening, camping, playing music and taking my dog to the bark park.

LAURA SULLIVAN [[email protected]]
Planning to graduate in December of this year. Besides an interest in libraries and the science of information, I am passionate about contemporary art. My intention is to combine the two in one career. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any suggestions about how to do that. :-)

PAIGE FUJISUE [[email protected]]
When not traversing the edge between hearty challenges and too-much-stress, Paige Fujisue likes to let her mind wander and explore the crevices of creativity. Admittedly less of a bibliophile and more of an information explorer, Paige encourages all to become lifetime learners. Honored as a 2006 ALA Spectrum Scholar and awarded attendace to IFLA's 72nd World Library and Information Congress, she has discovered a passion to strengthen the LIS community by promoting diversity.

REBEKKA BERNOTAT [[email protected]]
After finishing my B.A. in History, I started immediately with the SJSU – SLIS program hoping to gain theoretical, as well as practical experience that I can carry throughout my career as an Archivist. I had started the program not knowing what to expect and found that being involved in the various student organizations was a helpful link to vast amounts of resources and a great venue for networking. Now I am able to contribute to the SLIS community by being involved with not only SAASC but also LISSTEN as a Member-At-Large.
