                  :: SCHOOL LEADERSHIP COORDINATING TEAM 
                  The committee's terms of reference include coordinating the  administrative and programmatic activities of the School, managing the academic  and professional reviews of the School, and developing programs and priorities  for revenue enhancement. |

                  :: STUDENT ADMISSIONS AND ADJUDICATION 
                  The committee’s areas of responsibility are to recruit high  quality students reflective of the communities we serve, select students of  high caliber, develop criteria for awards and scholarships, recommend students  for awards and scholarships, adjudicate student appeals and disputes, and to  make recommendations for change to the faculty.  |

                  :: CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT 
                  The committee's areas of responsibility are to monitor and  review the development, implementation and delivery of SLIS programs; to propose  new programs and recommend approval of new courses; and to make recommendations  for change to the faculty. |

                  :: FACULTY DEVELOPMENT AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS 
                  To committee’s areas of responsibility are to ensure  standards and appropriate procedures for retention, promotion and tenure of  faculty, and the integration of part-time faculty; to review proposals for  Visiting Scholars, procedures for appointment of new faculty, and procedure for  peer review, research funding and sabbatical leaves; and to make  recommendations for change to the faculty |

                  :: SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND RESOURCES 
                  Responsibilities of the committee are to ensure a safe and  secure physical environment, to recommend alternatives for a continuing  education program, enhance and ensure support for student associations, plan  the colloquia series; to recommend priorities for purchase of equipment, recommend  priorities for upgrading current facilities, plan for new facilities, review  records management policies , and make recommendations for  change to the faculty. |
